Who we are
Ornitho Labs Pty Ltd (ABN 59 701 486 393) is an Australian company based in Victoria. This policy explains how we handle personal information across our products, including RotaRank, MyKinderoo and Lanes, and how we approach our obligations under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.
Information we collect
We collect only what a product needs to work. Depending on the product, that may include:
- Account details such as an email address
- Information you enter into the product yourself
- Basic technical information such as device type and error logs
We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.
Sensitive information
Some products handle information that is sensitive under Australian privacy law, including health information such as body measurements or activity records. We collect this only with your consent, only where it is needed for the product to function, and we do not disclose it to third parties for their own purposes.
Children
MyKinderoo is designed so that no personal details of children are collected. Parents manage tasks and rewards from their own account.
Where your information is stored
We use reputable infrastructure providers to store and process data. Where practical, we select hosting regions in or near Australia. Some providers may process data overseas as part of delivering their service.
Access, correction and deletion
You can request access to the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Where a product provides in-app account deletion, using it removes your account and associated data.
Security
We take reasonable steps to protect information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access, including encryption in transit and access controls on our systems. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

If you believe we have mishandled your personal information, contact us at privacy@ornitholabs.com.au. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised.
